The Visibility Problem

Most leadership challenges aren't skill problems.
They're visibility problems.

Most of the leaders I work with already sense something is off. In how decisions keep landing, in why the same friction returns, in the gap between what they intended and what actually happened. They just can't name what's producing it.


The work is awareness-based, not outcome-prescribed. Tess draws directly from Robert Fritz Structural Dynamics, working from the understanding that the choices people make automatically are determined by structures they can't yet see. Change the structure and the choices change. Not through effort. Through clarity.


This means the work doesn't target behaviour. It doesn't assign blame, not to the leader, not to the team. It illuminates the underlying structure producing the automatic choices. Once that's visible, genuine choice becomes possible. What you do with it is entirely yours.

Not everything shows up in words. Tess pays attention to what's happening beneath the surface of the conversation, somatically and emotionally, because the body is often ahead of the thinking mind. Somatic and emotional awareness as genuine data, not as something to manage or push through. What you're feeling in the room is information.
What It's Actually Like

The structure is the method.
The room is something else entirely.

Tess holds the space in which that seeing becomes possible. She is genuinely gentle in her delivery. Nothing here feels painful, critical, or like an indictment of who you are. And it's precisely that gentleness, combined with total honesty, that makes it safe enough to look at what's actually there.

Non-judgemental

There is no assessment of whether your choices have been good or bad. The work is structural, not evaluative. You will not be criticised for what you find.

Honest

Tess names what she sees plainly. She will not soften a structural read to protect your comfort. The clarity is only useful if it's real.

Held

The session is contained. What you share stays in the room. You are not exposed, reported on, or assessed. The space is genuinely private.

Grounded

This is not therapeutic processing. It is structural work. The focus is on what's been driving the pattern, not on how you feel about it.

This is where the work begins. A single 90-minute session in which Tess names precisely what is shaping your situation. Not reflections, not questions to take away. A clear structural read of what's actually been driving the pattern.

You arrive with what you've been carrying. You leave knowing what it is. For most people, that clarity is worth more than another six months of trying to figure it out alone.

Fortnightly 60-minute sessions. Bespoke. No fixed curriculum. Tess works across all three layers exactly as your situation requires, every time.

Places are limited to 4–6 because the work is genuinely bespoke. This is not a programme that scales. It requires real attention, and real attention has a limit.

Founding partners get Tess at her most invested: full access, full attention, at a point where she is actively refining how this work is delivered. You are not a test case. You get more of her than future clients will at a higher rate.

About Tess

That's where I come in.

I work with leaders who are ready to look beneath the surface. Not at their behaviours or their communication style, but at the underlying structures and driving forces that are quietly determining how they lead, decide, and relate. This is the work I do through the Clarity Compass Method™.

What I've found, after 5,000+ hours of facilitation, is that the leaders who come to me aren't broken. They're often the most self-aware people in the room. They just haven't had the right kind of conversation yet, one honest enough to be useful and safe enough to be real.

I hold a non-judgemental space. That's not a technique. It's how I work. What I've found is that most leaders already sense what's producing the results they don't want. They're not coming to me to be told something new. They're coming because they finally want to look clearly at the choices that have been happening automatically, and they need to know it's safe to do that. What they find is almost always less about who they are, and more about what they couldn't yet see.
